    The Workers’ Party of Korea is a revolutionary party with invincible might that has been strengthened and developed in the tempest of the revolution.

    President Kim Il Sung said.

    “In the trying and grim ordeals of the revolutionary struggle, our Party has been strengthened and developed into an invincible force.”

    The invincible might of the WPK is that the whole Party is united firmly with one idea and will.

    Unity and cohesion are a source of party’s fighting strength and might and is a decisive guarantee for all victories. Invincibility and might of party is realized by solidness and vitality of their unity and cohesion. The working-class party can fully display its might as an organized vanguard detachment of the working masses and fulfill its historic mission only when it achieves solid and viable unity and cohesion.

    If party’s unity and cohesion is to be solid and viable, it is imperative to achieve solid unity on the basis of one ideology, that is, the leader’s ideology and resolutely defend and further cement the unity generation after generation. Only then, can the revolutionary cause started by the leader be carried forward and accomplished with success.

    From the first period, the WPK has held fast to it as the fundamental problem related to the Party’s destiny, the destiny of the revolution to achieve, defend and strengthen the unity and cohesion based on one ideology, paid big attention to it and made strenuous and ceaseless efforts to achieve genuine unity and cohesion. History of the WPK was the course of glorious struggle to realize the unity and cohesion based on the leader’s revolutionary idea. In this course, unity in ideology and purpose that the whole Party and society breathe the same air and act as one on the basis of the leader’s revolutionary idea was realized and unity and cohesion based on the boundless loyalty to trust in and follow the Party and the leader was achieved. The WPK members and the Korean people have defended the Party and the leader politically, ideologically and at the cost of their lives while sharing destiny with the Party in every case. They have tided over difficulties of the revolution positively by dint of their united strength holding higher the banner of unity and cohesion based on the revolutionary idea of the leader whenever the revolution faces severe trials.

    The unity and cohesion of the WPK is the most solid and viable one as it has been defended purely through generations and its invincibility proved in the trials of arduous struggle. As in the past, so in the future, the Korean revolution will advance dynamically along the road of Juche and emerge victorious since it has the strength of great unity and cohesion. No force can break the steel-strong unity and cohesion of the whole Party, which is big pride of the Korean people firmly guaranteeing the invincible might of the WPK.
