Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105^th Tank Division on August 25, 1960.

Kim Jong Il stepped forward the servicepersons’ hall and stopped in front of the slogan Let Us Defend with Our Very Lives the Party Central Committee Headed by the Respected Comrade Kim Il Sung! hung on the gate of the hall.

Looking at the slogan for a while, he elucidated that the exact demands associated in the slogan is to absolutely trust in and follow only President Kim Il Sung in any adversity and dedicate even one’s life without the slightest hesitation for the Party and the leader.

Saying that defending with our very lives the Party and the leader is a decisive guarantee for winning victory of the Korean revolution and it is the primary mission and the core of the glorious tradition of the Korean People’s Army to do so, he stressed that the People’s Army should hasten the victory of the Korean revolution by holding high the slogan Let Us Defend with Our Very Lives the Party Central Committee Headed by the Respected Comrade Kim Il Sung!
