The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un looked round the completed Pyongyang General Hospital on February 27, 2025.
Kim Jong Un said that, at present when the scale of construction has become extensive and the struggle for comprehensive state prosperity is being waged on a full-scale, the sector which should take the lead is that of designing.
Kim Jong Un continued that designing of structures to be erected by a socialist ruling party for the sake of the people should properly combine the modernity and national character while giving top priority to the safety of the people and improvement of their wellbeing and reflect great idea and noble political ideal of the times and aspiration for higher ideal and civilization. He noted, in this sense, designers are the “political artists” who bring ideas and policies of the Workers’ Party of Korea into reality.
