Once the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Samilpho Specialties Factory.
Kim Jong Un looked round different production processes in the factory. At the Makkoli workshop, he held a bottle of Makkoli and opened it. Makkoli is a drink with which the Korean people have been fond of drinking since a long ago.
At that moment, an official asked Kim Jong Un not to taste Makkoli as the weather was cold. Kim Jong Un said that he would taste it as a member of people and guess whether it was popular among Pyongyang citizens genuinely.
Tasting Makkoli, Kim Jong Un praised that anyone would be pleased to drink it as it is sour and refreshing. Saying that Makkoli seems to contain much sugar, he called on the officials of the factory to further improve quality of Makkoli so that it became the people’s favourite article.
