I think the following words are important among those of Chairman Kim Jong Il on the practical significance of morality in the struggle for the revolution and socialism.

Chairman Kim Jong Il said.

“Morality is a basic criterion for defining the qualities of a revolutionary. A revolutionary must hold not only revolutionary ideals as his belief, but also be equipped with genuine human qualities supported by noble moral principles.”

Revolution and cause of socialism are inseparably related with noble morality.

In Chairman Kim Jong Il’s work, the problem on a leader of the revolution holds an especially important place among socio-historical and moral problems.

We, the Russian communists are deeply moved by Chairman Kim Jong Il who said on the immortal exploits performed by Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin, the communist revolutionaries who defended the people’s interests thoroughly and safeguarded revolutionary principles firmly without compromising with enemies of the revolution while enjoying trust and support of the people.

Chairman Kim Jong Il’s words are correct and timely ones.

Debates over the leaders who fight for socialism become heated and constant on a worldwide scale.

Morality is the best weapon of communists in this struggle.

We repeat the following words of Chairman Kim Jong Il like the coincident determination of revolutionaries.

“The more the imperialists and the renegades from the revolution scheme to slander the communists and abuse communist morality, the higher we must display our revolutionary mettle and the noble moral traits as communist revolutionaries.”We will win victory as we have this truth.
