The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said in his programmatic policy speech delivered at the 10^th session of the 14^th DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly that housing construction is an important affair directly related to the Party’s authority and the people-oriented character of the government of the Republic and it is the nature and duty of the Party and the government to unconditionally keep the promise made with the people, however harsh trials they may face.

Kim Jong Un said that since the number of houses to be built in the remaining two years, including the completion of the construction of 50 000 flats in Pyongyang Municipality, is considerable, thorough preparations should be made and vigorous offensive should be continued to make so as to live up to the expectations of the people.
