Being guided by the first secretary of the communist party central committee of an Eastern European country, President Kim Il Sung looked around a field of ripe wheat one day in June 1975.

Looking around the field, Kim Il Sung asked in detail about the sowing situation.

Both the first secretary and the secretary in charge of agriculture of the party could not give him answers. Accordingly, chief engineer of the farm explained the situation.

His explanation was followed by a topic about abnormal climate.

Kim Il Sung gave profound explanation about the abnormal climate.

Surprised by the President’s explanation, the first secretary expressed his feeling by saying “Comrade Kim Il Sung, you are busy with the state affairs, but you have mastered the farming methods. You are a solid farmer, indeed.”
