Industrial design that gives precedence to designing for manufacturing industrial products and developing the living environment in a beautiful, convenient and useful manner, plays a scouting role in accelerating the economic construction and improving the people’s livelihood.
Industrial design is a basic form of practical art which includes industrial art, costume art, textile art and commercial art. It plays a big role in accelerating the development of science and technology and providing the people with convenient and civilized life. It plays an important part not only in refurbishing streets, villages, factories, work places and houses in accordance with the socialist way of life and as required by the new era but in increasing the country’s international authority and developing economic and technical cooperation and cultural exchanges with foreign countries.
