One February day in 2007, Chairman Kim Jong Il came to Jangyonho Fish Farm in spite of cold weather of the northern region.

An official of the farm explained the Chairman in detail not only about fish farming in the Lake Jangyon but the one they planned in the place where the lake water joins the sea.

Appraising that it is a new and good idea, the Chairman noted that it was necessary to try the plan while further deepening its research and test. He said that it would be great if the plan was successful.

Looking round several places of the farm, the Chairman praised by saying that the place is the best one rich in natural feed and it is an uncommon idea to breed fish in both net-caging method and traditional method. Praising that the efforts and enthusiasm of the person who hit an idea to breed fish with natural feed in such a lake are great, the Chairman said that a patriot is the one who works passionately while using his brain and conceiving to solve problems in improving the people’s living standards by making good use of natural and geographical conditions in one’s locality.

Looking at the farm officials, the Chairman said that they were highly commendable and satisfactory as they made sincere efforts to breed rainbow trout in the Lake Jangyon. The Chairman said with earnest that sincerity solves everything.
