It happened one day in early March 2012 when the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Cho Islet defence detachment.

When he had a picture taken with service personnel and made steps, he saw women shouting “hurrah!” on the shoulder of a hill outside the barracks.

They were officers’ wives who heard that Kim Jong Un had visited the defence detachment and rushed there to have a distant view of him.

Fathoming the women’s minds, Kim Jong Un said that he would have a photo taken also with them, and motioned them to come to him.

Suddenly the women were at a loss.

They heard the cheers from the barracks and ran out of their houses so hurriedly that they put on casual clothes.

As if he had been attracted more by the simple-faced women who were hesitating, Kim Jong Un took a few steps toward them standing on hillside and motioned them again to come near.

They hurried down the hill slope.

Looking with broad smile at them who were contending each other for the place beside him like innocent children, Kim Jong Un had a photo taken with them.

Happy with an unexpected fortune, the officers’ wives had a picture taken with the benevolent father in tears. It was a picture of the happiest family in the world.
