New term Paektusan University compares the revolutionary battle sites in Mt Paektu area, the center and edifice of education in the revolutionary traditions, to a revolutionary university.
While making horseback march in the revolutionary battle sites of Mt Paektu through virgin snow from November 30 to December 2, 2019, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un put forth a meaningful new term Paektusan University. At the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea held at the end of December, 2019, Kim Jong Un again underlined to arouse in the whole Party the strong wind of arming with the revolutionary spirit through the study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area.
Essence of this new term is to make all officials, Party members and working people have the same ideological and spiritual qualities and fighting spirit that the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners had.
Paektusan University means the revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area, a center, the hub for practical experience and an immense edifice for the education in revolutionary traditions, which are associated with the sacred footprints of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the noble life of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners. Paektusan University Curriculum is a course of arming with the revolutionary spirit through the study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area.
This new term clarifies the fundamental way for training the entire Korean people into those, strong in idea and faith and armed with the spirit of Mt Paektu. This new term also reflects the steadfast will of the WPK and the DPRK people to accomplish without fail the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered on Paektu by holding fast to the revolutionary traditions of Paektu, that demonstrated its immortal viability in the all stages and forms of struggles of the Korean revolution and enabled to fully display dignity and honour of the country, as the only traditions and an eternal foundation for the Korean revolution.
