This new term expresses the DPRK that has become the sole youth power in the world thanks to the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in combination with their august names.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un set forth the idea on the youth power of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in his historic speech made at the 9th Meeting of Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League on August 28, 2016.
Essence of the term is to maintain it as the eternal strategic line of the Workers’ Party of Korea to give priority to young people, to add luster to the great leaders’ exploits of building a youth power and to bring about a heyday in the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist youth movement.
Youth power of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il was founded on the basis of the great leaders’ idea of giving importance to youth and their wise leadership. The youth power of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is the DPRK which has a powerful organization of youth vanguards and millions of young people who are infinitely loyal to the Party and leader, the country and people and which is vibrant and youthful, ever prosperous and powerful by vanguard and onrushing role of the young people.
