This new term intensively expresses the revolutionary character and the glorious tradition of the Korean Children’s Union in combination with august names of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un called the Korean Children’s Union Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il organization of children in his historic speeches made at the National Meeting of the Korean Children’s Union held in celebration of the 66th anniversary of its founding on June 6, 2012 and at the 8th Meeting of the Korean Children’s Union held on June 6, 2017.
The essence of the term is that the Korean Children’s Union must be strengthened and developed forever into the great leaders’ children’s union, the WPK’s organization of children.
That the Korean Children’s Union is Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il organization of children means that the union was founded by the great leader Kim Il Sung and that it is a mass political organization of the Korean children who are brought up with utmost care by the great leaders, and therefore, it is called in combination with august names of the great leaders.
