The encroachment and restraint upon independence of the popular masses are the important reason of the revolution.
As they are social beings who regard independence as life and soul, the popular masses do not allow it to be encroached upon and restrained.
If their independence is encroached upon and restrained, the popular masses cannot become the masters of their own destiny and lead an independent life.
Hence, they rise up in the revolutionary struggle for their independence against encroachment on their independence.
In exploiter society, independence of the popular masses is mercilessly infringed upon by exploitation and oppression of the exploiting class.
Where there are exploitation and oppression, there is resistance, and where there is resistance, there is revolution.
In the long run, revolution takes place in the exploiter society as independence of the popular masses is violated by exploitation and oppression of the exploiting class.
Revolution takes place in the socialist society as independence of the popular masses is restrained by old remains of the exploiting class.
The ideological, technical and cultural backwardness, the remnants of the old society left in the socialist society disturb realization of independence of the popular masses.
The masses conduct the revolutionary struggle to eliminate the ideological, technical and cultural backwardness, the remnants of exploiter society.
It is inevitable that there takes place the revolutionary struggle of the popular masses to defend and realize their independence as long as there are encroachment and restraint upon their independence.
However, even so, the revolution never takes place by itself at any time as the people’s independence is encroached upon and restrained.
