The collectivist view of life according with the aspiration and demands of popular masses is confronted with the individualistic view of life representing the interests of exploiting and ruling classes.

“Living a worthwhile life for the society and the collective and spending one’s whole life meaninglessly for one’s own self-interest represent two fundamentally different attitudes towards life.”
The collectivist view of life and the individualistic view of life fundamentally go against in their ideological and theoretical basis.
The collectivist view of life proceeds from the ideology that collectivism is man’s intrinsic nature and he is unable to live apart from the collective as the man is a social being that can carve out his own destiny only in the social collective. Besides, the individualistic view of life is the one that proceeds from the antisocial principle that sets an individual against society and collective and puts the former on the latter.
The collectivist view of life and the individualistic view of life are fundamentally are opposed to each other in the view on life.
The collectivist view of life regards it as the worthwhile and happy life to give top priority to the interests of society and collective and live and work while subordinate an individual’s interests to them. The individualistic view of life makes the interests of an individual the first consideration, requires to subordinate the interests of society and collective to the individual’s and aims at the reputation, comfort and happiness of the individual.
The collectivist view of life and the individualistic view of life are fundamentally distinguished in their roles in social life and development.
The collectivist view of life cultivates the ideology, emotion and morality making contribution to the hastening of social development. On the contrary, the individualistic view of life binds the thinking and life of the people in a narrow-minded interests and the view and attitude of life that enjoyment of the individual and implants view and attitude of life hostile to society among them. At present in the capitalist society where the individualistic view of life holds sways, view and attitude of life that one’s own well-being is given top priority no matter what life the others lead, are predominant and thus the people become depraved, criminal acts prevail and all sorts of imposture and fraudulence are rampant.
In order to lead valuable and worthwhile life, the people should be well aware of and oppose and reject the injustice and antisocial characters of the individualistic view of life and gain a firm cognition that the collectivist view of life is the superior one that fully secures the freedom and development of the people’s individualities.
