The working class suffers the severest exploitation and oppression in colonial and semi-colonial countries. The working class in colonial countries is the important object of imperialist plunder. The imperialists transplant biased and deformed industry in colonial countries to exploit them in various kinds of methods placing the working class in these countries in the most miserable position. Hence, the working class is higher in independent consciousness than other different classes and strata of the society and participated in the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution to overthrow the colonial ruling system and open up a road of democratic social development more actively than any class and stratum.
The working class has not only the most important interest in the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution but also the powerful strength capable of leading the masses of all walks of life to victory in the revolution.
The working class is related with the biased and deformed but large-scale industry and works in collective. It is strong in organizational character and sensitive to advanced ideas. Severe exploitation and oppression of imperialists in colonial and semi-colonial countries are the objective conditions promoting the class consciousness and organizational unity among the working class. Through practical struggle, the working class perceives that it is necessary to make an organized struggle in unity in order to liquidate the colonial system. Like this, the working class performs the role of leading other classes and strata in the van of the struggle against the colonial ruling system.
